NEWS FLASH

The President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, has announced that he has requested for the country’s state-owned flag carrier Uganda Airlines to seek partnership and cooperation with Air Serbia in order for the two states to fast-track business, tourism, and personal exchanges. The remarks were made by the President while meeting a group of officials from his Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development. Uganda Airlines has a fleet of six aircraft, including two Airbus A330-800s and four CRJ900s. Earlier this month, Uganda announced it had selected Serbia as its main partner in Southeast Europe. President Museveni is set to open the country’s Uganda Connect office, as well as a Uganda Hub shop in Belgrade’s Waterfront neighbourhood in the coming weeks. Uganda was the third-largest foreign market for the Serbian construction industry last year. EX-YU Aviation NewsBy: EX-YU Aviationhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/[email protected]
