The recent sale of Adria Airways’ former headquarters for 4.25 million euros was made to a Slovenian buyer. Adria Airways’ bankruptcy administrator, Janez Pustatičnik, signed the purchase and sale agreement this month, which has since been approved by the court. Mr Pustatičnik explained that the buyer comes from Slovenia, but that they do not want to be named at this point. Once the acquisition is paid for, the buyer will be identified in the land registry. With the sale of Adria’s headquarters, the majority of the bankruptcy estate of the former Slovenian national carrier has been liquidated, but the bankruptcy process is far from over. In addition to the sale of some equipment and spare parts, it is also necessary to settle a number of claims that Adria had against various companies around the world. According to Mr Pustatičnik, they have already managed resolve some, but many cases are still open and in various stages of legal proceedings. Adria’s former headquarters were built in 2009. The four-story building features 4.400 square metres and includes offices, classrooms, a car park and a warehouse. It is located next to Ljubljana Airport. Two investors submitted their bids, with the largest offer ultimately winning. EX-YU Aviation NewsBy: EX-YU Aviationhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/[email protected]
