Skopje Airport plans to add an additional ten check-in desks next year to cater for the continued growth in passenger numbers. The General Manager of airport operator TAV Macedonia, Nejat Kurt, said, “I can say that for the next year, we are planning to expand the check-in area, with an additional ten counters, in order to increase capacity because we are expecting higher traffic next year. We will make some slight adaptations here and there [next year], but the major change that we are planning to make is the increase in the check-in area”.
