Air Serbia has operated one of the longest nonstop flights in its history after it performed the almost 10.000-kilometre one-off charter service to the Philippine capital of Manila. As exclusively reported by EX-YU Aviation News last Friday, the Airbus A330-200 aircraft has been deployed to pick-up Serbia’s men's national basketball team, which were runners-up at the World Cup held in the Philippines. The 11-hour 25-minute flight took off from Belgrade yesterday evening. The cabin crew rostered on the return service was previously flown to Manila in order to operate the return journey.
