Welcome to Monument Valley Navajo Nation Tribal Park. Here is a travel vlog of our experience in the park and at our unique Airbnb stay inside a Navajo hogan.
Monument Valley is special for so many reasons. To elevate our experience and connect with the culture and history of Monument Valley, we stayed in a hogan. A hogan is a traditional dwelling place of the Navajo people. It was a great Airbnb stay, and we highly recommend staying here if it is in your budget.

After our hogan tour, the next part of our Monument Valley travel vlog is what we referred to as “The Loop” in the video. This is the 17 mile scenic drive that takes you up close to the buttes, and to different lookout points and hikes within the park. We did the drive at sunrise and it was a truly magical experience.
Don’t forget to check out Forrest Gump Point if you are going on your own trip! It is outside of the park, so it can be easy to forget. If you are a fan of Forrest Gump though, it is a must!
