Jat Tehnika in cooperation with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has completed the first ever Boeing 767 passenger to freighter conversion in Europe. The B767-200, initially registered C-FMXC was delivered brand new as a passenger jet to Air Canada in 1996 and was later passed on to Air Canada Rouge. The jet is currently undergoing test flights after which it will be delivered to Challenge Air Cargo under the registration 9H-CAC. The entire process of the wide-body aircraft conversion took place in accordance with the IAI supplemental type certificate in two production lines within Jat Tehnika's hangar number two in Belgrade.
