Inside the Academy Museum Of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles
A tour of Los Angeles' newest museum, the Academy Museum Of Motion Pictures. We really enjoyed our visit to this museum and it far exceeded our expectations! If you like movies, you'll love the Academy Museum. It's located adjacent to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and across from the Peterson Auto Museum at the intersection of Fairfax and Wilshire.
Don't miss Backdrop: "An Invisible Art,” featuring the backdrop of Mount Rushmore used in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1959 classic, “North by Northwest.”
The museum’s inaugural temporary exhibit is on display through Summer 2022: the tribute to legendary Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki, whose films include “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Spirited Away.”
