Belmont Park: San Diego's Historic Seaside Amusement Park
Belmont Park, located right on the sand in San Diego's Mission Beach neighborhood has 12 thrill rides, 6 adventurous attractions, and 3 oceanfront restaurants. Classic rides include the Bumper Cars, Carousel, and a Tilt-a-Whirl. Belmont Park's most iconic attraction is the historic Giant Dipper roller coaster, which was built in 1925 and reaches speeds up to 48 mph.
In addition to rides and attractions, Belmont Park also has a variety of other amenities, including a beachfront Plunge swimming pool, arcade games, a bowling alley, and a variety of shops and restaurants. The park is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, and is a great place to spend a day of fun in the sun.
