Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport recorded its busiest August on record by handling 932.165 passengers, representing an increase of 30% on last year and growth of 23.1% on the pre-pandemic 2019. It registered an increase of 19% in commercial aircraft movements on 2022. During the January - August period, the airport welcomed 5.107.975 travellers through its doors, up 43% on last year and an increase of 24.4% on 2019 or an additional million passengers. Belgrade Airport’s September passenger performance will be published on October 12.
