Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport has restored its category III Instrument Landing System (ILS), which was downgraded to a category I after a Marathon Airlines Embraer E195 aircraft, operating on behalf of Air Serbia, hit the ILS antenna upon take-off on February 18. Category III, the highest ILS available, enables aircraft to land in low-visibility conditions such as fog or heavy rain.
