An UNEXPECTED message from the city with NO LAWS
Today we are exploring the California desert! This is a hidden gem in California that most tourists don’t visit. I think this small corner of the world is making a big difference, and I want to share their messages with you!
We explore the area surrounding the Salton Sea. We visit The Salton Sea, Bombay Beach, which is a California Ghost town, then venture into Slab City. Slab City is known “as the last free place” and it is notorious as the town with NO LAWS. This city has an unexpected message of love and hope for us. They are really working on making a difference and changing the world. This is one of the most inspiring places I have ever been, and I hope I can share that with you.
While in Slab City we visit Salvation Mountain, and East Jesus Art Museum. I would have loved to explore more of The Slabs and experience local life, but due to the state of the world we didn’t want to negatively impact the community. Hopefully when the world returns to normal we can go explore more of the slabs!
I know it's not easy to go off the grid in California, but visiting these lesser known attraction in California is well worth it! Enjoy our trip to
