Virgin Atlantic has announced two exciting new flights from London Heathrow starting next year, offering those flying from the British airport an opportunity to explore the world’s most beautiful beaches in the Turks & Caicos and the finest snorkelling and scuba diving in the Maldives.

New Flights to the Maldives

The three-times-weekly winter flights to the Maldives will be available to purchase from 30th November 2022, with the first taking off on 22nd October 2023.

Arguably one of the most idyllic holiday destinations, the Maldives offers travellers crystal white sands, sheltered lagoons, luxurious relaxation and adventure.

Virgin Atlantic Holidays, a sister company of Virgin Atlantic, already offer packages to the island. Still, with this announcement, that is due to increase with more packages on sale from 18th November 2022.

Travellers to the islands can experience world-class diving, surfing, fishing, and kayaking, and with over 1,000 coral islands to enjoy, there’s no shortage of things to see or do.

Juha Jarvinen, Chief Commerical Officer at Virgin Atlantic, says, “The Maldives has always been a trendy destination for Virgin Atlantic Holidays customers, which is why we couldn’t wait to give them the opportunity to travel to the idyllic location in style onboard Virgin Atlantic aircraft.”

New Flights to Turks & Caicos

Virgin Atlantic also announced a new twice-weekly service to the Turks & Caicos, which will run year-round.

Tickets will be available from 11th January 2023, with the first flight taking off on 15th November 2023.

The stunning islands of the Turks & Caicos offer visitors some of the most pristine white sand beaches, surrounded by the world’s most transparent turquoise waters.

Plus, with an expansive barrier reef, home to vibrant coral, dolphins, turtles, stingrays and more, the islands make for a breath-taking playground for snorkelling and diving.
