Singapore Airlines Launches Lifestyle Collection From Upcycled Seats

Singapore Airlines has partnered with Singaporean company Bynd Artisan to produce a limited-edition lifestyle collection out of the leather of the carrier’s Business Class seats.

Singapore Airlines is known for being one of the most luxurious carriers in the industry. You can always count on them to produce a stellar air travel experience. So, it is unsurprising that the airline is maintaining that image of luxury and decadence with these latest products. 

The carrier has opted to collaborate with high-end artisan Bynd Artisan to produce sleek fashion and lifestyle items out of the leather of a Singapore Airlines Business Class seat. 

The collection consists of a key holder, a crossbody bag, a watch and valet tray stand, and a phone and name card stand, and all products are priced at over 100 SGD. The environmentally-friendly items are a part of the airline’s ‘The Upcycling Project’ – an initiative that intends to give new purpose and new life to retired commercial aircraft and in-flight service items. 

Three of the items featured in the Singapore Airlines x Bynd Artisan collection feature the carrier’s iconic batik motif, and each item has been presented as a “celebration of voyages and homecoming.” 

All items are delivered in matching velvet drawstring bags to maintain the theme of affluence. Most importantly, the bags can be repurposed and reused for any purpose you choose.
