After a 55-year absence, Delta returned to the Cuban market in 2016, but service was halted in March 2020 due to COVID-19. As stated on the financial results call for the September quarter of 2022, Delta remains committed to completing the restoration of its network by the summer of next year in response to the ongoing strong demand.
