easyJet Flight Diverted to Prague After Bomb Emergency on Board

easyJet flight EZY6276 has been diverted on Sunday night to Prague after passengers reported the possibility of a bomb being on the aircraft. The flight that took off from the Polish city of Krakow did not end up at its supposed destination of Bristol in the United Kingdom.

Passengers flying from Krakow to Bristol last night had to make an emergency stop in Prague due to a bomb threat. The Airbus A320 aircraft was an hour into the flight when pilots decided to make a quick landing at Vaclav Havel Airport. Once in Prague, a team of pyrotechnicians safely inspected the plane after all passengers and crew left the aircraft in order to make sure all danger is cleared. However, they found no evidence of there being a dangerous item on board.

The airport’s Twitter page reported the following: “At 22:50, a diverted aircraft landed safely at @PragueAirport on the Krakow-Bristol route. There was reported a possible bomb on board an aircraft. All actions to ensure the safety of passengers and all air traffic are currently being carried out by @PolicieCZ

Thankfully, there were no casualties, and all the passengers and members of the crew were unharmed after this incident. This isn’t the first time easyJet had to divert a flight due to a bomb threat. Recently, in July 2022, an easyJet flight scheduled to fly from London to Menorca had to be escorted by a fighter jet after there was a supposed bomb threat on board.
