Delta Reintroduces Route to Tokyo from Los Angeles

Passengers onboard this service will be flown in the Airbus 330-900neo from LAX, where flights to Haneda will operate three days a week: outward flights will run on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, whilst flights from HND to LAX will run on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This rota will take place until December 1st, when Delta will make this a daily route.

Hello, Honolulu: Delta Set to Start New Route from Tokyo to Hawaii

In addition to the news of the airlines reopening a previous route, Delta will also be flying from HND to Honolulu, Hawaii. This will be a daily service using the airline’s Boeing 767-300er aircrafts and marks the first time this service has been offered by Delta.

“As travel restrictions gradually ease in Japan, we decided to restart the service from Los Angeles and Honolulu and increase the frequency of the flights currently operating flights to Haneda. Our commitment to the health and safety of everyone on board always comes first, and customers will enjoy more options to Haneda, with Delta’s unparalleled travel experience on the ground and in the air.” – Victor Osumi, Delta’s Managing Director – Japan

Delta’s New Terminal 3 after $2.3 billion Investment

Delta Airlines offers 140 daily flights to 53 destinations all over the world, making it LA’s largest global carrier. Earlier this year, Delta and LAX partnered up in a project to create the ultimate customer experience – a brand new Terminal 3. The Los Angeles Terminal, equipped with new interior designs and self-serve kiosk stations, includes the brand new Delta Sky Club lounge where customers can enjoy refreshments, restrooms, and over 30,000 square feet of space to relax before boarding their flights.

“Planning for this Delta Sky Club began back in 2018 and every detail – from the seating to the food and beverage offerings to the premium design – was selected to create a one-of-a-kind experience for guests. Whether guests visit the new Delta Sky Club to dine, work or simply enjoy the views, they’ll find much to love in this world-class lounge for a world-class airport.” – Claude Roussel, Managing Director of Delta Sky Club

Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19’s nature, Delta Airlines urges customers to check their Discover Map before flying to ensure that all the passenger requirements needed to travel have been met.
