As the year comes to a close, the new TAP Premium Lounge in Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport is fully open and ready to host.

What the new TAP Premium Lounge Offers

After renovations in hopes of improving customer experience, TAP’s Premium Lounge is back, with freshened colors and services that will help you unwind during transit in/out of Lisbon.

The Premium Lounge rework is all about comfort; It offers more sitting places – up to 320 passengers, as well as green areas to restore energy and serenity.

Passengers can enjoy a selection of hot and cold dishes during their layover, alongside various refreshments. What’s more; gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are also available to cater to all travellers.

More TAP Flights to South America

Despite the previous airport worker’s strike and more forthcoming strikes planned, TAP is confident about increasing its offers in the summer of next year. The airline plans to add at least 17 transatlantic flights; from Europe to the United States, Venezuela, and its prime destination, Brazil.

As of now, TAP is the European airline with the highest number of flights and routes to Brazil. This year, it has carried up to a million passengers between Brazil and Portugal, thanks to its convenient routes from Lisbon to 10 popular destinations including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Salvador. There are more than 70 flights that travel these routes every week, and the airline will increase the weekly number even more next year.

The airline fleet consists of almost 80 operating aircraft – all of which are Airbus. In fact, TAP has recognised the manufacturer as its trusted partner since 1988.

TAP was also the launch customer of the new generation widebody A330neo.

The A330neo features smart ceiling panels with full-color LED lighting and customizable patterns in its Airspace cabin. The overhead storage is spacious and the seating layouts are flexible and adaptable.
